We’re looking for a Manager of Data Migration in a 100% remote roll to guide our client‑facing onboarding team and ensure that customer, contract, and service data is flawlessly migrated into ForgeOS, our proprietary platform. Your team’s work is the foundation of every other Forge service and product and you'll be involved with innovative solutions for future growth and scalability of the product and company. 

Telecom data is messy, nuanced, and mission‑critical. You’ll be a leader on the team brings order to the chaos. You’ll transform raw, inconsistent data into clean, structured, actionable intelligence. And you’ll do it while partnering closely with clients, channel partners, and internal teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and manage all client-facing data migration and onboarding projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Assign and track team projects based on individual strengths and experience; monitor progress using open project plans and tracking tools.
  • Provide management, training and guidance to Data Migration Coordinators:
    • Participate in the establishment of clear and measurable goals, and meeting or exceeding stated goals
    • Identify individual team member growth or challenge areas including conducting required performance reviews.
    • Manage and enforces company policies, including application of policies to PTO requests from team.
    • Remain current with and enforce state employment laws such as overtime, break laws, discrimination and harassment prevention.
    • Collaborate with team members to develop SOP and workflow documentation
  • Organize and optimize workflows for data extraction, entry, and validation; ensure all processes are documented and aligned with compliance and business goals.
  • Serve as a point of escalation and maintain proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and channel partners; manage status updates and resolve issues promptly.
  • Input and validate customer data in Forge’s operating system; ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of project data.
  • Support initial partner kickoff calls and coordinate onboarding activities.
  • Create and maintain workflow documentation, project tracking spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
  • Analyze work processes to identify optimization opportunities; implement improvements to enhance team efficiency and data quality.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to Data Migration Coordinators; set clear goals and support professional development.
  • Participate in technical and professional training as required; foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
     
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
  • 3-5 years of proven management experience, team leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and resource planning.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the indirect channel environment with Technology Services Distributors (TSD’s).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PC and software applications including O365
  • Advanced technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel demonstrating ability to filter data sets, navigate large spreadsheets, execute queries such as =Sum or =ROUND, leverage Pivot Tables, and utilize VLOOKUPs efficiently.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of prioritizing, multi-tasking, and efficient time management
  • Experience making independent decisions based on policies, practices, and order requirements
  • Ability to understand complex issues, make sound decisions and then communicate resolutions while under pressure in a fast-paced environment clearly
  • Occasional travel as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
